Hymn Festivals: Feasting on the Spirit
Monday, March 6th, 2006Let’s make this clear from the start: I’m interested in the interaction of words and music in ALL forms of congregational song—not just hymns. But this article is an apology for hymns as part of a regular worship diet. Not praise choruses, not scripture songs, but music and words that present a thought and develop it through several stanzas: hymns.
